ELISABETH OHM
Elisabeth is attorney-at-law and head of the patent department with responsibility for the patent attorneys and patent related work.
Elisabeth provides advice within the area of intellectual property, primarily patent law. She is particularly concerned with Norwegian businesses and their position in relation to foreign markets.
Elisabeth started working for ACAPO in 2004 whereafter she in 2013 was appointed as the deputy director of the Norwegian Board of Appeal for industrial property rights and acting director in 2021. In April 2022 she became the head of the patent department at ACAPO. She has been involved in a broad specter of trademark and patent matters, especially when it comes to court proceedings.
Elisabeth is candidata juris from the University of Bergen, with elective subjects from Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy and Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Germany.
Elisabeth is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association, the Association for Norwegian IP Advisers and the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI)
Her working languages are Norwegian, English and Italian.
